GEF: busy, hectic, cold, windy. Marquee collapse, hypothermia, unconcious drunks, black-ops auxillury units, overnight shouts. Also friends, ducks and fish. lol! furries.

Saw [livejournal.com profile] reallyfrank & [livejournal.com profile] vondage. Blankets, showers and pesto for the win.

Car dead. Repairman says not worth it. Parents may provide loan to buy battlecar landie. Will keep you posted.

Work tomorrow, going to Sheffield.

Not going to Waypoint, no car to get there. Bum.

Sorry to hear about the car

Buy a 101, then lend it to me for filming fun

You know you want too!

You're right - I do want to, but I also need something I can use as a daily driver.

I'm planning on an ex-military 90 with soft top at the moment, or maybe a lightweight.

But you can use the 101 for a daily drive, theres a chap down here in Exeter who does so! Ture he may live in the wilderness where only 4x4s can go, but he drives into the town center from time to time

But yes it's best you go with something more useful to you, I have done the "own a car for the sake of it's a special car" and it was an absaloute pain in the arse, I couldn't get anything moved about at all!

Remind me to bring my copy of "Land Rover Monthly" to the Maelfroth!

Copy of LRM - good plan.

101: wouldn't be able to park it outside my own house.

I am going, but not until very late on the Friday. If you can get to Manchester and occupy yourselves until 10ish (ie entertain my kittens at the flat) until then, then we can go and hopefully get there for drinks at time out on the Friday...

May be a plan. OR - can meet you as you pass Preston (can/will wait at M'way junction on cue) enroute. But coming to M'cr may be the way forards.

Thursday afternoon? There'll be no-one on site. Waypoint is this weekend, in Hexham.

Are you thinking of Maelstrom (for which I have no trouble getting to site - either a train or we'll try for a lift with PD crews from Preston)??

Bugger yes thinking Maelstrom. Oh well I'll stop thinking while trying to do other jobs at the same time. Although you could try to ask Neil to go and crew but not sure if he will or not!

Passing Preston

Hey - I'm already picking up one passenger in Preston; should be able to manage one more. I'm on a 5pm ETA for Preston station at the moment if this is any use.

May take you up on the offer - but I possibly have work for the weekend as well, which takes priority at the moment.

I'll let you know as soon as I have news.
