Interview:
Apr. 25th, 2006 02:06 amHave seen War of The Worlds live on stage (at The M.E.N, Manchester) - fucking amazing.
The man that is
serpentstar has provided five questions by my request, so I shall answer.
1) What's the oddest injury you've ever had to provide first aid for at an LRP event?
Most of my first aid friends raise eyebrows at NippleRing vs Chainmail, but there's always scope for the sword I had to apply surgical tape to make it safer.
2) In theatre work, who is more annoying -- the actors, or the designers?
I don't get too much exposure to designers thankfully, so it tends to be the actors - dancers can be a real pain sometimes as well though.
3) What's your favourite gadget that you own? That you would like to own? That you would like someone to invent, so you could own?
So - in three parts is it? Well my favourite gadget has got to be my Gerber Multitool - it goes almost everywhere with me, all the time. That I want? Hmm That's difficult - I'm a gadget fan, so there's always something on the horizon that I want. I'm quite wanting a SatNav system at the moment - realistically probrably TomTom loaded onto an ipaq, but I saw a lovely combibnation of SatNav and mapping software loaded onto a ruggedised laptop at the Landrover Show the other year... Now, for something getting invented? A subdermally mounted watch could be useful.
4) Resolutely childfree, married, and a pervert, eh? So how did marriage change things for you? What's the best thing about being married?
It gave me more jewellery ;). The best thing is probrably the simple knowledge that we're there for each other. That, and maybe the acceptance that it has brought from all points of both families.
5) If the LRP-plot-fairy could grant you one wish, what plot would you wish to be visited upon your favourite LRP character? Why?
I've got a good way to that with Zetuvit (Omega) - he got to survive the end of the world, and walked into the sunset with his closest ally, his best friend (carrying a 6' sword and doing quads), and mana coming out of his ears. I don't know where I want to go with the characters I have running at the moment, most are about to be, or have recently been retired for one reason or another.
Here's how to get me to interview you:
First leave me a comment saying, "Interview me." or similar.
Secondly I will respond by asking you five questions of a varyingly intimate and/or creepily personal nature.
Then you WILL update your LJ with the answers to the questions.
Next you will include this (or similar) explanation and an offer to interview someone else in the post.
Finaly, when others comment asking to be interviewed, you too will ask them five questions.
