Well, that's easy isn't. I was off to the Omega Winter Party.

Had a chat with my Credit Card company just now - they called into me (withheld number, natch) and asked for security details - I refused as I can't verify them and asked for my 'outbound password', a word I've previously set up with them so they identify themselves to me as genuine. They couldn't find it, so I said "no", and called them back on the number listed on the ststement.

Customer service there are very good, and we get the main problem sorted out with no trouble, and then we look into what went wrong with the outbound password. It seems that the passsword was recorded on a really obvious screen if I'm calling in, but totally invisible if they've called me! It's been sorted now, so I should be able to get through with less palaver next time though......
