If you were in Sidcup on Monday 20th September (just after Maelstrom), and you swerved round a lady in the street, as reported on the BBC news website, then you can feel truely ashamed of yourself.

That is all.

That's terrible. I wonder why the CCTV cameras failed to determine how she was injured.

My only guess is that she was injured off camera, or possibly the cameras don't record the whole area in one go but move around on a automatic pattern and they missed her being injured.

Or a combination of the above.

Yes, I was disgusted by the news reports too.

I like to think I would stop, but I have this horrible feeling that I would squint concernedly into my rear-view mirror until she was out of sight, wondering what was wrong and if anyone else was going to help her.

Still, at least now I can firmly resolve to help if I see anything similar in future...

"It was taken by a bus camera, whose driver did stop to help her.:"

Which then doesn't really suprise me cause if it looked like a bus was stopping to help her, other cars are less likely to as what can they do?

There's still the issue of the TWELVE other drivers who were seen to ignore her, never mind those who may have not been seen.
