Staying at home with
ephrael - game on!.
I had a nice quiet weekend at home, and did not a lot. Went to see Ham (sans LJ), who's
ephrael's younger sister, which was cool. She's an artist - graduated in it and has sold stuff and everything, but she's working in a special needs college as a teaching assistant which she likes apart from one girl who bites.
We've started with the 'sorting out of the house' problem - in that our storeroom is far to small for all our kit, which is now strewn all over the front room floor and we hardly use the room anyway. Solution: we're moving all the kit to thelounge and turning it into a big storeroom and then making the boxroom into our new lounge.
This has entailed giving ikea money, and some more tommorrow for the rest of the shelving we need - ikea may not be great, but we've got the standard modular 'Ivar' shelves from there, and if we keep going with the same system it all just extends out far more easily than trying to push units together, so it's good news for Ikea shareholders this week. This does of course mean doing some work, and having to tidy up a bit, but we can legitimatly tidy by making more mess as we move stuff, which always feels good to me. :)

Empathy? Are they stupid???
Other than that, had a half day of work at short notice on Monday, may get a bit more later this week, and there's a 2 day stopover thing next week so at last there might be a bit more money coming in!
