Yes, well after that stunning display of literacy...

Operation did indeed go fine, and I'm now surviving on smoothies, scrambled eggs, soup and other soft foods (with no corners), and much care from ephrael.

It seems I spent about an hour and a half to two hours out, rather more than the 20minutes I was expecting (having asked the SHO about this), I might get my GP to have a look in my files when they've been transferred back to him, and find out if there was any major reason...

Anyway, the main thrust of this post:

On Sunday I should be in Newcastle (Upon Tyne), for a 'Chuckles' run. What interesting things are there to do there for an afternoon (loadin is first thing in the morning and I'm generally free from mid morning until late afternoon / early evening)?? ephrael may well be with me as well, so what can people suggest?

Anywhere I fancy really - the show's at the Journal Tyne Theatre (formerly the Tyne Tees IIRC), but as long as I can get the van there & parked, I can go just about anywhere (or I can leave the van at the venue)

Well parking around their is fine, also not far from their you can walk across the eye and see the balitc art gallery. also their is sage music center just down from that. but parking their its a fair hike into town if you don't know your way.

1.5-2 hours sounds about right for a GA, the operation may only take 20mins but coming round afterwards takes quite a bit longer IME. Glad you're okay though!
