And so forth...
Mar. 12th, 2007 12:37 amNot a lot going on in my life - Em's grandma has been unwell and has passed on, but I suspect if you know
ephrael, you know this - seeing as it's in her LJ. She seemed like a nice little old lady to me.
I've had some work (for which payment is still outstanding), and have a bit more on the horizon, but nothing firmed up properly. Just small gigs and the odd warehouse day in the main, but work's work.
Quite randomly, an old friend (Frog) who went to Uni here and roleplays/rens turned up on Andrew & Alan's doorstep to drop in and say Hi - she's spawned a tadpole (which is fairly mobile and pretty well behaved). Lovely to see her out of the blue as I've not seen her in about 3 years, so that was a very welcome surprise.
My diary tells me that it's now only four weeks until the Easter & first Maelstrom of the season, so that's 4 nights in field in Birmingham watching people puke (if last year is anything to go by), but I may try to paint myself a funny colour for some of it and get_out_and_play. I have got some more MilSim Airsofting coming up, in Catterick this weekend - for which I shall have a cheap suit, a loud shirt and a bad 'tache (I shall endeavour to get pictures) so I can play that with impunity and know that it's almost good!
That is all.
