Boycott Royal Mail. I'm fucking serious.

This, this and this is why.

They don't need my support, they don't need my business. If you need to send something to me - don't post it. Call me and we'll work out a way. There's enough of us around the country, going to enough events that we should never have to post anything.

Event organisers: Get paypal or nochex or something like it and take online bookings, because I'm not sending you money in the post in any form.

I worked for Royal Mail for a few month some years ago and every story currently doing the rounds sound exactly like it did then.

Prime example one of the Liverpool Delivery Offices went on strike when a colleague was let go, they demanded he was reinstated or they wouldn't go back to work. The reason he was fired was that he had been caught stealing mail. To be perfectly honest I'm amazed as much stuff gets through as does.

Yeah it was amazing how many of the Omega LRP mailshot envelopes never made it to their destination... :-(

And we get a few letters a year that aren't even for this street never mind house number...
