I'm back - what'd I miss?

I have been in Cambridge (well, near it) for the last fortnight.
I have missed many things, and there are many pages of LJ to scroll back through.
If you think you posted something I should pay specific attention to, would you be as good to point me at it / repeat it here for me.
Similarly, I have spent much time isolated from my normal social circles, if there's news I've missed - please let me know.
